We are going to introduce you to a little-known and still rare spider in our farms:  Liphistius  sp.
Liphistius  is a genus of spiders  mesotheles  of the family of  Liphistiidae.  Or  Araneomorphae, nor  Mygalomorphae, the  Liphistius  have their own more primitive branch.
These little spiders are very slow growing, between 3-6 years  according to  the  species, with record lifespans  (an imported female today is over 10 years old!).  So she will be with you for a long time.
Those are  from  trap door  who live underground in a small gallery covered with a hat and sensory wires all around.  They settle in steep places  and wet.
You will have to offer them a box/vivarium  of about  20x20x20  by creating a slope with the substrate, make  pre-holes  in the middle of the slope  and she will do the rest  (with your finger  for example)  .  It will be necessary to offer it a slightly damp but never dry substrate, a thickness of about 15cm composed of coconut humus and clayey sand for example.  In terms of food, small crickets or cockroaches will do.  When the prey is to be carried, it will come out of its hatch in a flash to take its victim with it.  It will need to be fed every 2-3 weeks.
You will be able to make them live in a common tank, it will just be necessary to partition the time that each is its own hatch, before removing the separations, to avoid accidents.

A real marvel, coming straight from prehistory!
